Capital One recently announced that a data breach has exposed the personal information of 106 million of its credit card customers and credit card applicants in the US and Canada.
They have posted information about the breach and promised to notify affected individuals with an offer for free credit monitoring and identity protection services.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has also published recommendations regarding the breach.
