Get the Essentials Ahead of Time
If you have a few months or even a few weeks before the move, it might be worth it to get a storage unit and start shopping sooner. Purchasing the essentials ahead of time means that if you see a great deal on an item, you can buy it immediately. That’s a lot better for your bank balance than making a rush purchase on move-in day when it’s midnight, and you suddenly realize you need an air conditioner.
