For over twenty years HUECU has fostered the credit union philosophy of People Helping People by supporting the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots campaign. While the Marines organize, coordinate, and manage the program, ultimately its success depends on the generous donations of partners like Harvard University Employees Credit Union and its members to help collect toys for children in need.
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens. HUECU strongly supports the mission of the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots program and each December Credit Union staff attend a celebratory dinner where thousands of toys are handed off to the Marines to be distributed to children across the state.
The partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program expands HUECU’s already strong commitment to helping people in the communities in which we serve. We thank you all for your support and for bringing joy to a child in need this holiday season.
