The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement's history and to promote its achievements. It is a day to honor those who have dedicated their lives to the movement, recognize the hard work of those working in the credit union industry and show members our appreciation.
We continually demonstrate our ability to improve the lives of individuals, families, and the communities we serve, and have done so for generations. The cooperative spirit is alive and well at HUECU and we look forward to making a positive difference in our members’ lives for many years to come. As we celebrate International Credit Union Day on October 17th, we celebrate the theme of "Credit Unions Unite for Good" with more than 196 million people worldwide to establish credit unions as Americans’ best financial partner.
