Wintersession 2014 will prove to be no different as HUECU’s Director of Student Services, Tom Murphy will once again conduct a three day curriculum on personal financial management to provide Harvard undergraduates with an introduction to the practical life skills they will need for their future financial success.  The goal of the program was to educate students on the components of consumer credit, credit scoring, personal budgeting, taxes, insurance, and investing that can be used for personal improvement.

One key feature that will be incorporated into the session: a videogame called "Farm Blitz" inspired by the popularity of "FarmVille," the social-networking game. This new wave of computer games helps people save more and avoid common financial traps.
